COLT-MPC Extension Services,proposed

    Award-bagging cooperative Corcuera Lending and Trust Multi-Porpose Cooperative (COLT-MPC), considers the proposal of pioneering a computer center in Corcuera,Romblon.

   COLT founder and General Manager Ranilo Fruelda, in an informal conversation expressed desire to pursue the said project. Accrording  to Fruelda, the computer center will pioneer and provide computer education, thereby developing computer literacy among Simaranhons.

   Not only would the project help increase the cooperative's income, but it would also draw interest from other barrios to enroll in any short term courses the center would offer. As of now, Fruelda is positive that the project will soon materialiazed.

Coritico is Corcuera's Lady Doctor

   Jennifer Garay Coritico,single,27,from Sampalok,Manila,is Corcuera's new doctor.

   Coritico is a Medicine graduate of Dela Salle University at Aguinaldo, Cavite in 1998. She passed the board exam in Augost 1999 and Applied as Doctor to the Barrios in the Department of Health right after.

   At present,she works as Municipal Health officer of the Rural Health Unit in Corcuera,Romblon at the same tiime the Rural Health physician.

   Coritico's service to the place has been very valuable. She attends in dual Functions as Doctor at the Malipayon District Hospital and a Health officer in RHU. Her community functions include health lectures,medical checkup and consultations.
